1 John 2: 6 ESV
“Whoever says he abides in him (Jesus) ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”

Walking with Jesus takes knowing Him ( can two walk together least they agree Amos 3:3). Knowing Him is being in close fellowship with Him. Fellowship with Him means trusting Him.
