The Things God Reveals

Deuteronomy 29:29 ESV
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”

First things first, what are the secret things of God? Well, they’re a secret. More importantly they are things that we cannot handle in the flesh. One day when we are with God, He will show us as He desires.

Jesus knows those things, the Holy Spirit knows those things and even Paul was shown some secret things that he could not share. John on the Isle of Patmos was shown some extreme things that deal with the end of times and he revealed what he could, as did Daniel.

As far as the things that Moses said was things that are revealed, those things belong to us and to our children forever. We live out what we know, but make no mistake ignorance will not be tolerated. To say we did not know is to say we did not bother to search the Scriptures to found out what we need to understand.

I’ve been asked a lot about what is happening in Europe, what is this telling me? This is sign of the times. Read Daniel with a very good commentary. Read Revelations with a very good commentary and we will see this is the sign of the times. And when the end starts, it will go fast. We must understand what we read in the Bible and do not misinterpret..

Prayer:
Father, I will heed Moses words thousands of years ago. “The things that are revealed (in Your word) belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law (all that You have written for us to learn.)
