Ephesians 2:4-5

“But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved.”

We don’e deserve God’s love, we don’t deserve His salvation, we don’t deserve the sacrifice of His only Son, but because of God’s rich love, God forgave us.  We were once dead in our trespasses and sins but because of God’s love we are alive in Christ, forgiven of all our past sins, present sins and the forgiveness will flow even to our failures in the future.  What a great God we serve.
