Hebrews 12:1b-2a ESV
“…let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith…”

Whether we like it or not, we are in a race. The course has been set for each of us. I can’t run your race and you can’t run my race. So, run your race but focus on Jesus, He will give you the strength, endurance and faith you need to accomplish your course.

A lot of people don’t run their race; they see the course and doubt sets in that they can’t make it. Or fear sets in and they say to them selves “if I try something bad may happen,” and fear conquers their faith. If they would look to Jesus, the author of their faith, faith would conquer the fear.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, you would never have anything but my best interest at heart when you laid out my course. Today, I will keep my eyes on you, then I will run with endurance and even if I run into a bend in the road, I will fear no evil.
