Philippians 4:12-13 ESV

“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.  I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

We all have stories in our lives where we have been at our lowest point, maybe even destitute. We may have stories where things were perfect, where everything seemed it was going our way. Paul found out how to be content in both situations. He wasn’t satisfied with all situations, just content. In the end, he said that he could do anything if Jesus was with him.

Whatever comes our way, let’s let Jesus bring us peace about our situation. We may not be where we want to be, so we keep moving until we can get to where we want to be. Just encounter every situation by giving it to Jesus and allowing Him to give us peace where we are.

Prayer:
Father, I’m not always where I want to be. My circumstances are not always ideal, but I ask that you help me to be content until I reach the goal of where I should be. As always Father, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!
