2 Peter 1:4 ESV

“…He (God) has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature,  having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.”

It’s amazing that a Holy God would make a way for sinful mankind to come into His presence, But He did that through His Son Jesus Christ and the sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection. It’s incredibly amazing that a Holy God would provide a giant leap and allow those who have been redeemed to actually be participants in His Divine nature.

We were born in sin because of the sin of Adam. So, our nature is a sinful nature, we are prone to sin. But God in His great mercy wanted a relationship with us so He provided a way back to Him, and he did that through His Son and then gave a us a huge advantage, we could reap all the benefits of the Divine nature, everything that you and I need, not to just survive but to be in abundance. EVERYTHING we need for this life and EVERYTHING we need to live a godly life. EVERYTHING, just ask, He has already made provision.

Prayer:
Father, I don’t deserve mercy and grace, but You gave it anyway. I don’t deserve love, but You gave it anyway. I don’t deserve ALL Your promises but you gave them anyway. Thank You!
