“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Have you ever just wanted to stop everything and everyone in the world, and stop the madness? Have you ever just wanted to spend a relaxing day, no worries, no cares no clock, no to do lists? Have you ever wanted to just be by the still waters in a garden built by God, no bugs, no pollen, no allergies? Just a time of peace and serenity without troubles and troubled people?

Well, we can’t stop everyone and their actions, but we can get alone with God and enjoy Him. He has peace that no one can explain why it is so good! He says, “come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Yes, we will eventually have to get back to the world at hand, but you can retreat any time with Jesus.

Prayer:
Father, this world is full of trouble and troubled people bbut your Son told us He has overcome the world. (John 16:33) This world is not our home, we are just passing through. Today, will You give us peace and rest please.
