Judges 8:34 ESV

“And the people of Israel did not remember the Lord their God, who had delivered them from the hand of all their enemies on every side…”

Don’t forget to remember! Remember the times God blessed and delivered you. Think back to all the times you thought you had good luck, I guarantee it was God’s provision, not luck. Remember the times you had a near miss of maybe someone almost hit you in your car, or a near miss when you almost lost something valuable, I’m positive it was not just good fortune, it was God. We used to sing a song in church when I was a kid, “Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings see what God has done.” Think daily of all God has done for you and thank Him!

Prayer:
Father, I will try not to forget to remember all that you have done for me. I will remember, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights…” (James 1:17 ESV)
