Psalms 146:3, 5-7 ESV
“Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God… who keeps faith forever; who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry…”

Putting our trust in those in higher power on this earth is useless, they are typically on their own agenda. But when God hears our heart say that He is all we have, and we confess that He is the only one that will ever deliver us and take care of us He is ready, willing and able to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)

Only He “executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry…” He is “able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20 ESV)

Prayer:
Lord, You have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. (Psalms 139:1-3 ESV) Lord, all I need is You, and I and fully persuaded that, what You had promised, You are able to perform. (Romans 4:21)
