1 John 4:7, 8 ESV

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.  Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

Loving others despite who they are and what they have done is a reflection of God’s love. Of all I have done and said in all my life, despite all those things God still loves me because God loves us in spite of what we have done. If we do not love, we do not know God!
