Hebrews 11:2 ESV
“For by it (Faith) the people of old received their commendation.”

We read the stories of the heroes of Faith in the old and new testament because they believed God and acted on the faith. God had men write down their stories for all the world to read. Our story may or may not be written for others to see but our stories are written down by God. He loves it when we have faith- when we believe, trust, and obey Him.
