He is Our Peace

Psalms 94:17-19 AMP
“If the Lord had not been my help, I would soon have dwelt in [the land of] silence. If I say, “My foot has slipped,” Your compassion and lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comforts delight me.”

If the Lord hadn’t come to our rescue a thousand times, surely we would have been no more. Even when we have slipped back and acted like when we didn’t know Him at all, even then His mercies intercede on our behalf and he holds us up from completely falling down and giving up.

I don’t know how everyone’s minds work, but I know some people and their minds escalate almost beyond control. Psychologists have all kinds of antidotes for people to try and use when suffering from anxiety.

A few would include relaxation self therapy, breathing exercises, physical exercise therapy, Went Well lists, to name few. God has a went well list as well.

Remember when He delivered you from a huge stressful situation at work or home?

Remember when you were anxious concerning your children or grandchildren and God worked it all out?

Remember when you were anxious about a decision that you had to make and He caused it to work out like it was nothing?

All those are things are things that went well! Those are comforts that delight us.

Prayer:
Father, You are my peace that has broken down every wall, You are my Peace, You are my Peace. So I will cast my care on You, for You care for me.
