John 10:27-29 NLT

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and He is more powerful than ANYONE else. NO ONE can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”

Listening to Jesus (following the directives of the Bible), obeying Him and following Him (in whatever He tells us to do) are prerequisites for eternal life and security that we will be with Him forever.

When He says no one will snatch you out of His hands, nor the Father’s hands, that means we are sealed by the Holy Spirit when we gave our life to Him. We are locked in, sold out to God and He will do whatever it takes to keep us for His own!
