John 16:13 ESV
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

The Spirit of truth, or the Holy Spirit, will reveal everything we need to know, we just have to ask and seek. Why is it important to get the right information?

Have you watched the news lately? Have you watched TV in general. What we see is skewed. General TV and the news is skewed. Skewed one way on one channel and skewed the other way on another channel. How can we believe anything we are seeing and hearing?

If we have the Spirit of Truth living in us, we can allow Him to give us discernment. Discernment of the Spirit is a must have these days. There is no party affiliation with God the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit.

What the Holy Spirit will reveal to us is the whole truth, the complete truth. He will reveal the will of God and the heart of God. We cannot trust the things that we hear from the world but we can trust the Spirit of truth because He is not speaking on His own He is speaking what He hears from God.

Prayer:
Father, I trust you, give me discernment, give me what I need to hear.
