Zephania 3:17 ESV
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”

What a comfort to know God is here with us. We are never alone or have to fear being alone. Our God is mighty to save us from any circumstances that come our way. The passage says He will quite us. He will quite our fears and He will avenge us from the predators who would harm us. He is the one who will lift us up when our spirit is down.

This passage says that God will rejoice over us. Most of us have never seen too many people rejoice over us, so let me show what that looks like. If you have ever seen a young mother sitting in a rocking chair, her baby cradled in her arms, and singing songs to her baby, to sooth her baby, that is a beautiful scene.

God does that for us at times, to settle us down and to make us calm, and letting us know we are loved and cherished. At other times I believe God breaks into loud singing, singing the makes the devil quake, singing that makes us know He is mightier than any foe.

Yes our God sings, and I believe God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are singing over us in perfect harmony! Listen, hear God singing over you today!

Prayer:
Father, I can hear You singing in somber times and I can hear You singing joyfully in times of trouble. But I can also hear You singing loudly, just because You love me. I love You Father!
