Ephesians 4: 22-23 Amplified
“Regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self… and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude]…”

Putting off the old nature seems to be a daily chore, allowing God to CONTINUALLY renew our minds and attitudes should be a daily enrichment.
