2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…”

Anything that comes to our mind that does not fit as pleasing to God, or any thought that does not line up with His word needs to be cast out of our minds. Let me expand this further, anything that does not edify us or lift us up or encourage our walk needs to be removed immediately. Every thought that comes to our minds needs to be subject to Christ’s approval. Everything else needs to go, including the temptations of the evil one!
