His Great Power

Jeremiah 32:17 ESV
“Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”

Ok, it is the Monday morning after a long weekend, for most people. Some have to roll out of bed and face a full week’s worth of work, not much to look forward to there. Others wake up and start a week of uncertainty, not sure what the week holds. Others are waking up and it is a brand-new day in a brand-new week of possibilities. Anything can happen, but they choose to believe God has an amazing plan, so they go with that.

We serve a great God, the only true God, creator of heaven and earth and all that lives and breathes on the earth. His loving kindness which is graciousness, love, compassion, and mercy, endures forever, no matter what we do, say, or think, or what this week holds.

It’s not the universe that is making the decisions, it is God who is making the decisions, and if we let Him, He has amazing possibilities for us. Choose, no matter what your morning or week looks like, to praise and glorify God. To give the day and week to His great power.

I can vision God’s amazingly strong hands and outstretched arms. Those outstretched arms are not just to bring us close to Him, they are also to fight our battles, conquer our foes, redeem us from despair and for setting us in green pastures of rest and peace.

Prayer:
Good morning Lord, this is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Today has endless possibilities. I give You full control, You have Your way in me! Walk with me, talk with me, tell me I am Your own. In Your Great name, Amen!
