Matthew 2: 6 ESV
“But you, Bethlehem… out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.”

The Christ would be just exactly what Israel needed. He is and always will be our greatest gift: a Shepherd to lead us and a Savior to redeem us.
