Psalms 94:16-17

“Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers? If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.”

We never have to wonder who will come to our rescue, if we have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He is there every time we need Him. The problem typically is, we try to figure our own way out of trouble. Instead of being dependent on Him and His methods, we choose our own strength. The next time we feel the presence of evil or we fill like the walls are closing in, the first thing we should do is cry out to Jesus, and let Him be our rescue and strength.

Prayer:
Father, evil is everywhere and evil opposes Your children. I don’t want to fight on my own, I don’t want to face the enemy alone. Stand up for me in the presence of my enemy?
