God ALWAYS Cares

1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.”

Coming to God in praise and worship should be natural for us as His children. Some feel that coming to God out of a broken heart, or through distressing news seems difficult, but it should be as natural as going to a loving friend, relative or parent and pouring our heart out to them.

God sees, God hears, and He is already moving before we ask. Why does He do that? Because He is a God that knows His children and He knows when they are lost, or hurting, just as well as He knows us when everything is alright and we are just loving Him and serving Him.

For the times of uncertainty and distress, lean on Him like you do, your best friend. Call out to Him just like you do, your best friend. Cast every care on Him. He is not someone that will just be there for you, He is the one who can actively change any and every circumstances of your life.

Prayer:

Lord, whether we are on the mountain top or in the valley this morning, You know it. Whether we are in the times of abundance or times of poverty of heart, mind, and spirit You know, and You are already making the way, whatever is going on in our lives. We actively lean on You this morning. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
