Never Alone

Romans 8:38-39 ESV

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This verse stands as a constant reminder that we have a Victor; we have a Champion who stands watch over us night and day forever. Even when we may feel lost or downcast in our spirits there remains our Champion, defeating every foe, conquering over the darkness, dispelling doubts, fears, confusions. Why? Because His love is not like our love, His love is boundless, unconditional and not subject to our thoughts whether we deserve it or not. His love reaches the highest height and the lowest depths. Why does our Champion have such love for us? Because He knows human nature, He lived the life, felt the pain, suffered rejections, brutalities mentally and physically, yet without being defeated by any of those things.

He stands by our side this morning, holding us up when we need it, and encouraging us often. He rejoices when we rejoice, calms our hearts when we are experiencing pain physically or mentally, and brings us to the place of peace and safety.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for always being there for us. Thank You for being with us in the light and in the darkness. Thank You for being there for us when we are up on the mountain top experiences and in the lowest of valleys. We are thankful that we are never alone. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
