What’s Following You?

Psalms 23:6a NIV

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life…”

David said that because of his favor with God, goodness, mercy (some versions) and love, or unfailing love, will follow him all the days of his life. He was so bold as to say it, and he believed it so much, that it is written down for all to see. He was not saying it because he deserved it, he was proclaiming this favor by faith in the God that he trusted.

As we walk in the favor of God, believe that what is following us is this divine favor, the power of God and His love, mercy, and goodness. Not that others see us, but that they sense the graciousness of God in our lives.

Prayer:

Lord, I want Your goodness, mercy and unfailing love to follow us, that the people around us are blessed because of our blessings from You! In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
