1 John 5:4-5 ESV
“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

Did you catch what the first line of this scripture said? ” For EVERYONE who has been BORN of God OVERCOMES the world.” We may not feel victorious,we may not look victorious and unfortunately we may not act victorious, but if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior we are in fact victorious!

How can this be? It’s a promise of God, if we are in His family, we are victorious! Faith made us victorious, right of Spiritual birth made us victorious! Believing Jesus Christ is the Son of God made us victorious. We need to imagine victory in every area of our lives and have faith in God. Speak victoriously, act victoriously, sing victoriously. Celebrate small victories, have a party for big victories. We are children of God, we are victorious!

Prayer:
Father, sometimes I don’t feel victorious, I don’t always look victorious but if I’m Your child, I am victorious!
