“The Latter Rain”
Hosea 6: 33 NKJV
“Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and the former rain to the earth.”

God will come to us as the former rain and as the latter rain. The former rain would break up the soil making the soil workable, ready for plowing and sowing the seed. The latter rain came and made the harvest a great harvest. God wants to come to us as the former rain, making us ready for planting and the latter rain, to produce a great harvest in us.
