Our Protector

Deuteronomy 1:6-7

“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”

It is wonderful to walk in the blessings of the Lord. Have you ever wondered what is going on behind the scenes to bring us to the point of peace and contentment? The Lord God is great and powerful, He can slay the enemy with just His words. He often uses His powers, and His angels to protect us. A mighty angel at His command destroyed in one case 185, 000 of the enemies soldiers in one night. Our God by His great power delivered the Israelites by parting the Red Sea, but used the same parted waters to destroy Israel’s enemy. The greatest army of their time.

What will God do for us? No doubt, by the love of God, He will route the enemy, slay the destroyer, and place us in His peace and safety. He will calm the raging seas, make still the trouble waters and deliver us from troubles. As He delivered Daniel in the lions den, He will deliver us. Nothing is impossible for our God!

Prayer:

Lord, sometimes we get our eyes on the circumstance instead of on the one who can change any circumstance. We let our hearts fear when You are the one who said that You do not give us the spirit of fear, no instead you give us power, love and a sound minds to know who vindicates us. (2 Timothy 1:7) Thank You Jesus, Amen!
