Jeremiah 1:5 AMP

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]…”

We all have times where we feel like we are just a small fish in a big pond. At times we lose who we are in Christ. We feel like we really do not matter, nothing could be further from the truth. God knew us before we were born, we were in His plans to be who we are, where we are, and He has established a purpose for everyone of us.

If God fashioned us, formed us and created us in His image, obviously we matter. We are God’s greatest creation. He has poured more into mankind that all of nature, animals or even the universe. He gave us life, meaning, and purpose. He filled us with His own Spirit. He gave us His only Son in order to bring us back to Him.

His Son bled and died to make us free. He lives in us and through us to make us children of God. We should never let anyone treat us like we are nobodies because we are born of God.

Prayer:
Father, I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I know before the foundations of the world, You knew me. I’m your child, and a joint heir with Your Son Jesus.
