Proverbs 29:18 ESV
“Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.”

When we stop trusting in the prophetic Word of God and lose sight of His promises,

the people will start looking to other things to bring them what they want to hear. Paul says in 2 Timothy 4: 3 NLT “They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.” But blessed to be happy is the one who keeps God’s word as the standard of life.
