To Be Used of God

Jeremiah 33:3 ESV
“Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

Now this is something that God told Jeremiah, who was a prophet. God wanted to use his voice to tell the people the will of God. In that frame of mind, God wants to do the same with every one of us. We do not have to be a preacher or a prophet, we just have to be a willing vessel.

Everyone has a voice whether it is speaking, writing, texting, emailing, social media or whatever medium we decide to use, God can and will use us to tell people of His will.

The last thing I need to understand is that what God shows us will always line up with His word. I’ve known a lot of people and preachers that have said God told them things that do not line up with God’s word. If we say that God told us something new, and it cannot be backed up with the Bible, it was not God.

Prayer:
Father, I know that You use everyone of us, You speak to us, whether we listen or not and You want to use us all to speak, write, text, email people to let them know what You are saying. Help us to be faithful witnesses.
