You Know Me

Psalms 139:1-3 NIV
“You have searched me, Lord, and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways.”

The enemy (satan) does not know anything about our thought life or what motivates us to be the people that we are supposed to be. He knows what we reveal to him only, the things that we say and do.

He can replicate but he has no power to cause any of us to sin. He can create the situations to make us stumble but he has no power to make us stumble. He can only be at one place at one time. He is powerful and he can mimic some of God’s powers, but he does not have any original thoughts or actions. His powers aren’t limited to the will of God.

God is omniscient. He knows everything about each and every one of us at all times. He is omnipresent, He is everywhere at one time. He ua omnipotent, He is all powerful. God knows what we are thinking, and He knows the sins that make us stumble. He provides a way to escape every situation that the enemy brings up.

God created us and He knows everything of every day of our lives, but He chooses to forgive and forget each misstep in our lives.  What is amazing about our Father’s knowledge, is that even though He knows everything about us, He still loves us just as much as the day He created us in our mother’s womb.

Prayer:
Lord, You have searched me, and You know me even long before I was ever conceived. You know my thoughts and You know my strengths and weaknesses. You know when I lay down and when I rise up. I am always in Your sight, and You are always leading me in grace and mercy. Thank You Lord, for saving me, for knowing me, for providing for me in good times and providing a way to escape in the bad times. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hands. Thank You Lord, Amen!
