Deuteronomy 28:13 NLT

“If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.”

Yes these promises come with conditions but they are conditions that are totally doable! Listening to God will always keep us out of trouble and make us wise. Obeying God will bring us everlasting favor. If will listen and obey; God has promised to make us the the first (the head) and not last (the tail). He has promised us favor (to be on top) and not to be the downcast or the outcast (the bottom).
