It’s Not Over Until God Says it’s Over

Ezekiel 37:1,3,5 ESV
“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones.   And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”

Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.”

Life is full of pitfalls and possibilities. Unfortunately the pitfalls seem to affect us more than the possibilities. God has the last word, and He is the creator of possibilities.

God asked Ezekiel if the dry bones in the valley of death could live. Ezekiel didn’t know, but God said He could raise to life what was once dead. This was the promise to raise up Israel again, they appeared dead, but God had the final say.

LSU and Texas A&M played a football game in 2018. Just seconds to the end of regulation play the score was 31 to 24 in favor of LSU. LSU players celebrated by pouring Gatorade over the head coach, but it would prove to be premature.

At the end of the regulation game, there was a questionable interception and LSU thought they had won. But after the review it was called incomplete. Texas still had one play left and they scored to tie the game up as time ran out.

The game would go to 7 overtimes and Texas came away the Victor. Many fans left early thinking Texas had lost but they missed one of the best games ever played with the final score 74-72. Texas was the victor.

It may seem like you are down and sometimes out, but it’s not over until God says it’s over.

Prayer:
Lord, I may be down but I’m not out. Satan may be releshing the victory over my life But my life belongs to You, You determine when I rise and when I fall. You determine when the battle is over, none other can determine that for me.
