Psalms 71:17-18 ESV

“O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.”

God has taught me since I was a child from the lips of my mom and dad the wonders of God. We would read little memory cards at devotion time in the morning and then pray together as a family. Most of the scriptures that I have remembered came from my childhood at home, church, Sunday school and vacation Bible school.

My mother taught me the power in the name of Jesus, so, it is my blessed opportunity that I should give that knowledge to the next generation. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Just the mention of His name can heal the broken heart, Open the blind eyes, heal the sick and raise the dead (spiritually or physically)!
