I Will Be With You

Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

At times God will allow us to experience hardships because He wants us to see how strong we can become. Left to our own devices, typically we want everything to run smooth, no hiccups or bumps in road. Life is messy, dealing with people can be messy, jobs and careers can be messy and sometimes family can be messy.

God is a God of strength and power, He is the Most-High. We are His children, and He desires that we possess similar characteristics as He has. When God allows us to go through tough times—it’s not to destroy us, but to make us stronger, more dependent on Him.

Hardships are not the end of our lives—it’s a pathway that leads us to victory and breakthroughs. At the end of our struggles – there are blessings, favors, comfort, peace, and added strength waiting on us Truly, God is with us through our hardships. He is not just standing by and watching.

David said in Psalms 23, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

In this passage today God says through the prophet Isaiah; “When you pass through the waters, I WILL BE WITH YOU; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Further, in verses 12 and 13 God says, “I am God. Also henceforth I am He; there is none who can deliver from My hand; I work, and who can turn it back?” God is our ONLY deliverer and strength, if we trust in Him, when we walk through tough times, He will deliver.

Prayer:
Father, sometimes life gets tough. Sometimes it appears like the world, or at least our circumstances, are against us. Sometimes our problems look insurmountable. Just knowing You walk with us, inspires us to keep going. So, we keep walking through the the fire and the waters, knowing they will not destroy us, You will not allow them to.
