Luke 24:4-7 
“…two men (angels) stood by them in dazzling apparel…(and) said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man  must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise?”

The power in the gospel and the power of our Christian religion is based on the resurrection. Without the resurrection, there is no eternal life, there is no victory over death, hell and the grave. Without the resurrection there is no hope for our resurrection at the end of times. Without the resurrection we are no different from any other religion. But the good news is, God did raise Jesus from the dead, His power transcends life and death.

Jesus did rise to live in our hearts, He did conquer over death, hell and the grave, so there is hope. Jesus was seen by His disciples and over 500 believers after His resurrection. He did walk on this earth 40 days after His resurrection. He is alive and we are the only religion that can say that the one we follow will always be alive.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for Your sacrifice, for giving Your only Son to pay the debt we owe. Thank You for Your great power that raised Your Son from the dead. Thank you for giving us a hope and a future to live with You forever!
