All Things Are Possible

Mark 10:27 ESV
“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”

Why is it we can believe for someone else, easier that we can believe for ourselves? Sometimes it’s easier to pray for blessings and healing for someone else than it is for ourselves. Sometimes we feel like we don’t deserve the impossible, so we don’t even ask. I think we should stretch our faith and believe in God for whatever we need.

I have a close friend that needs a miracle. I have tried to convince them to believe God for the miracle, but they think it is impossible. Medical science says it is impossible, doctors say it is impossible, but we just read in today’s verse that says with God all things are possible.

My friend has every excuse in the world, but I hope and pray for them. So, for now, I will use my faith, to supplement their faith and ask God for the miracle. When the miracle comes, I will thank God, while they enjoy the miracle. Today, don’t look at the natural, don’t look at the impossible, look to God who does the impossible every day.

Prayer:
Lord, I look to You the Author and Finisher of my faith, the One who gave me the faith to believe, the One that perfects my faith, the one that asks me to look beyond the possible to the impossible. In Your name Lord, Amen!
