Do Not Fear or Worry

Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

You can find this comfort when life closes in on you, and this comfort when people let you down. You can even find this comfort after you watch the news on TV. Find this comfort when you are so tired you almost can’t move. Find this as comfort when you are so exasperated that you want to know when is this all going to end or at least slow down some.

Fear not, or worry, He is your God the Father. Do NOT be dismayed (be discouraged, disheartened, or sink into despair or be depressed). He watches you when you are asleep or when you are awake. He watches you when life gets tough, and He even watches when you are at ease and sometimes forget that He is there.

He is not just watching. He is there to give you strength, send you the help that you need. He will wrap His arms around you and hold you. He will make the world go away, even if it is just for a moment, with a peace that passes all understanding. “Fear not, He is with You ALWAYS!”

Prayer:
Lord, I rest in the fact that no matter how loud the storms of life can be, You are there with me. No matter how bad the news looks, You are still Lord and Master of all things. So, I lay it all at Your feet and back away. Then I see it, Your righteous right-hand lifts me from the pit of despair and You set me on high. I praise You Lord and Savior, Amen!
