My Salvation

Psalms 118: 13-14
“I was pushed hard, (by those who wished me harm) so that I was falling, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”

Sometimes we believe that God is not seeing all the injustices that happen to us every day, but He does. The injustices will come, that has been foretold to us, but we have a choice, allow our circumstances to control us, or we control our circumstances.

We sometimes miss God’s helping hand, we get our minds fixed on the problems and we fail to see the solutions. I believe there is a solution to every problem and situation. Not every situation will be resolved the way we want them to. Not every problem will go away, but God gives us the strength and courage to bear every hill and every valley.

God gave us a free will and He will not make us do anything we don’t want to do. He will also not step in when we try to do things our own way, but He does not leave us. He is standing right beside us, and is in us, just waiting for us to call out for help. What God wants is for us to cry out to Him, to lean on Him and to trust Him explicitly.

As things begin to happen today, we cannot put ourselves in situations that we should not be in. But if we feel that the enemy is pressing us, pushing us, we need to cry out to God. God is our strength; He wants to be our song of victory and He is your salvation (our Hero)!

Prayer:
Lord, we need You now more than ever, come to our rescue, be our strength today. Give us courage, give us a song in our hearts and on our lips, be our Hero today. In Your name Lord, Amen!
