Psalms 37:23-24 ESV
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when He delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.”

When God is our source, truly the One we go to in good times and bad, our strength our confidante, He delights in us. Sometimes we don’t feel like God delights in us, but He does when we are whole heartedly into Him.

He knows exactly how we think and how we feel. He knows when we are mad, sad, glad, depressed, anxious or worried. If we are walking with God, He will direct our steps into the direction we need to go. I find great comfort in that, because I have different emotions running through my head at any point in my day.

To know I have a God and Father that is delighted in me and will direct my paths accordingly. He gives me hope that under any given circumstance or emotion, He will direct me through it and sometimes out of it for my protection. That is called God security. Always watching, always leading and guiding and directing my way into blessings.

Prayer:
Father, You are amazing to me. You love me even when I don’t love myself. You encourage me and direct me to blessings. You are a Great Father and You hold my hand. Nothing will keep me down, because I have You to lift me up!
