True Satisfaction

Proverbs 12:14 ESV
“From the fruit of his mouth a man is satisfied with good, and the work of a man’s hand comes back to him.”

We possess the ability as godly people to use our words and actions for good. If we choose to use our words in rebuke or disgust we are no better than the people without God.

There are times for correction, guidance and deliverance to a wayward soul. In all situations good wisdom and sound knowledge with words of correction works better than harshness. The satisfaction of how we used our words and actions will bring a blessing to us.

Whether in words or deeds, if we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit we will gain a soul and find contentment. Jesus taught that goodness and kindness will be repaid if we follow this pattern,

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put in your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:37–38).

Prayer:
Father, guide my words that they will not be idle or foolish but full of wisdom and anointing by the Spirit. Let the works of my hands be purposeful and meaningful to You first of all and then they will be a blessing to me.
