Psalms 119:32 ESV

“I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!”

Understand David is speaking of an enlarged spiritual heart, the center of our being, the essence of who we are. David is saying when God fills up his heart with love, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of His ways, David is not just going to walk in God’s commandments, he is going run in God’s commandments.

That is he will be zealous for God’s words, not only fulfilling God’s word but abundantly reading, studying and living in God’s word. God is trying to enlarge our spiritual hearts through His word. The more we take in, the more our spiritual heart is enlarged. God help us to read your word more, seek to understand your word more, and to live out your word in our lives everyday. Then we will run in Your commandments.
