James 4:13-14 ESV

“Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—  yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.”

This life is short but what we learn, what we teach in this life is just a stepping stone to the next life with Jesus. How we have worked in this world will determine the joy that the next life will bring. I firmly believe we cannot just barely make it through this life with our actions and attitudes and expect perfect bliss in the life to come. It’s starts now!
